Transport for London, the organisation that run the London Underground have a museum in Covent Garden which has recently been refurbished, but it can't hold everything...

This is where the museum depot in Acton comes in; used as storage and to actively restore pieces it is only open a couple of weekend's year - this was one of them.

I got a couple of hundred shots, but in the end this was one of my favourites - a few more will be up on my Flickr stream in a couple of days...
