I decided to combine meeting a friend for a drink in London with a photography trip to the Tate Modern in particular the Turbine Hall.
Each year a large installation is unveiled as part of the Unilever series; previous works have included the Olafur Eliasson's photogenic "The Weather Project", and Doris Salcedo's interesting Shibboleth.
This year's is by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and is called TH.2058 and can only be described as a room full of stuff; loads of metal frame beds, a giant TV, a massive apple core and a metal-look-a-like red girder thing.
The most artistic thing I could find were these heating pipes...
