Out with the old...

...In with the new! FINALLY....I got new running shoes...and they are pretty sweet if I do say so myself...but...gasp...they aren't Nike...this is my first pair of non nike shoes I have bought in the past 10 years...not even kidding...and my wallet let me know about it...these puppies were.....ugh...$120.......GAH!

And that gray part on the midsole is why....I have messed up feet...high arches, so when I walk, my arch collaspes causing me to over pronate...(I.e...run on the insides of my feet) So, I need that extra support (the gray part) to keep my foot straight...And they are Saucony..which makes really great running shoes...they are a running company...so I put all my faith in the running guy that sold me these, and I will continue to put one foot in front of the other! And I shouldn't need new shoes until the spring :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH (that is me singing "AH") El Mexicano!!! Again...YUM CITY....We both got Taco Salads today...me, chicken...Ed had a fajihita or however you spell that. This is the same thing we got last time too...haha, we need to find a new thing there :) But..it was just as good this time!

This guy was "baaa-ing" at us! He was funny!

Ed's favorite animal in the whole world...a cow..but not just any cow, he likes the brown and white ones! haha!

We were laughing at this for a good 10 minutes...this sheep had grass on it's head, and he kept looking around like he couldn't figure out why there was grass in his eyes!

Ducks!!!! We love ducks!

This guy was fanning all out, he was angry at some kids that were walking by! haha....oh, how animals make us laugh!

THE Duckers...we have these exact same kind of ducks that live by us...There is a huge ditch all the way down the road that we live on, and these guys are always by each other...a boy and girl...we call the "The Ducker Family" ...there are a bunch of different ducks that hang out in the same spots....We can always count on two boys and a girl hanging out beneath this one tree in someone's yard...We feed them bread when they are in the ditch....and everyone always waits for them to cross the road....they all pretty much own our road!

This horse had an outfit on...haha!

This was SO FUNNY...this little monkey took change out of your hand and then tipped his hat to you! SO FUN! I gave him two quarters two different times...Ed took the picture! hehe...I'm a sucker for a change grabbing monkey!

Ahh, the fair...where teenage love is in the air..haha!

This is the stupid game that we spent 12 dollars on...haha, no kidding...but it held our interest for awhile I guess!

We bought these journals today to...we are going to start writing down our racing times, and put our bibs in here, and writing down different things about the race....I know, I'm a documented freak...we document everything! haha!

Oh my gosh...let the Heaven's open up and the light shine down...I have had the biggest problem EVER trying to find earphones that fit in my ear. I am in awe of people who can wear the earphones that come with the ipod...and the ones that are little buds that fit in your ears...I have went thru 4 different kinds of earphones, and can't get any of them to work...so I am almost crying thinking I have the weirdest ears in America...why can everyone else wear those and not me??? Am I alone in this? So when I found these...I about jumped up and down....well...I think I actually did. I tried them on and it was like Heaven on my ears! So, they only had one pair left when I found them that were grubby and all tried on by everyone, so I've been dreaming about them, and today while we were in Target in Midland, I FOUND THEM.....And the rest is history! No more worrying!

Our favorite new no-sugar drink was on sale at Target...we got two of them :) Hooray!
