The medal on the right is the one you get for the marathon in Detroit. Ed is going to run this one, so he was so enthralled with this medal!

A very little tast of the running expo....shoes, clothes, accessories....everything for running here :)

Me on "the bricks" When you "Hit the bricks" you know you are in the homestretch of the race....they call it "hitting the bricks"

Inside this huge tent....there was hardly anyone here tonight, because it was a little rainy...but there is food and drinks and entertainment all around here.

The sign is hard to see, but it just says "Crim Festival of Races 2008, Flint, MI)"

Downtown Flint has some really cool old buildings,,,,here is one of them...

Ed is on the blue line....The city paints this blue line for the race course....so everywhere there was a blue line, you knew you would be running down there!!!

Ed is sad because he couldn't be in the picture! haha, but he should of been sad because he didn't even get to eat here, they majorly screwed up our orders!!!

August 22. Today we feverishly tried to find a hotel to stay at for the weekend, (I know, we are last minute people!) Anyway, we found a place, and were on the road.

Stopped at the outlets in Birch Run on the way to look at Nike, then headed right to Flint to go to the expo, pick up our race packets and look around at all the running stuff....We then went to our hotel, met up with Ed's sister April and Niece's Karlee and Kuriel and nephew Gage who stayed the night with us...

We went to Chilis to eat, which is our favorite place, but for some reason, this chili's was horrible with service and food, Ed didn't even get to eat....long story!

Then, we went back to the hotel, and watched our video of old races to get us fired up for the morning....6am is going to come early!!!
