Bought this from the grocery store...seriously SO good. We are trying to get back after running and eating better...this was a good start!!!
Potatoes and green beans rounded out dinner last night...
Then we decided to try our hand at making a chicken stock with the leftover chicken. This was our FIRST ever attempt at doing anything like this. All I can say is that our house smelled like my Grandma's on Thanksgiving, so we had to do something right. This was the leftovers after we drained it...

Looked and tasted like chicken stock???!!! We are going to try and make some homemade chicken noodle soup later in the week....hmmm, we will see how that goes!
And tonight we made a roast in our new improved crockpot. It turned out super good. The last time we made a roast was like one other time 4 years ago...and I put it in before I went to work and it was a little soupy when Ed got home from work, so he decided to add flour to thicken it up a little bit...which would have been fine, except he added POWDERED SUGAR....HAHAHAHAHAHA....I still tease him about that....the roast was a little sweet tasting that night! LOL!

Wow, nice work! And aren't crockpot liners like the best invention EVER?! :)

I love those crockpot liners. They're so great. I've never made my own chicken stock. I think I'm too lazy, especially when it's so cheap at the store. =)
