The day began with an early sunrise at the famous Angkor Wat. We needed to be on site at 5am to find a good spot to catch the sunrise. Apparently, the sun overslept and no sun came up, another disappointment. After Angkor Wat, the rest of the journey included Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, Pre Rup and Roluos Group (Bakong, Preah Ko, Lolei). The day ended with a boat ride to Tonle Sap, the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia.
