New York, New York

2008.01.03
Okay, so this isn't New York--it's Chicago's Cheesecake Factory...Auntie MO and Lex enjoy only the finer things in life!

Being from the Midwest, seeing cars parked in such a manner is pretty amazing. This was one of the views from our hotel window. Thought the little "houses" on top were guard shacks. Nope, turns out they're elevators! FOR CARS...too cool.

View from "30 Rock" (Rockerfeller Center).

A great quote to remember...New York City Public Library

Taken from Battery Park, I thought the smoke stacks in the background were an interesting reflection of Lady Liberty's raised arm.

My daughter and I visited New York City last year--first time for us both. What an exciting mother-daughter adventure!
