Love Trees
2008.01.15
Some dates on this tree go back to the 60's--I'm sure there were others higher up which might have been older. I'm not into carving up nature but this made an interesting subject.

This entry of love is about 15 feet off the ground.

Cool! We've actually done this 'digitally' with my wife's and my names on trees. We're such sappy geeks! =)

The first one looks like a watercolor painting. Very pretty and what a history that tree has to tell. Of course I would hate to have the initials B.S. like the poor person in the heart on first pic. The second couple that carved their love note must have gotten high off each other!
