At the local dog park, a new visitor is greeted with everyone's nose aiming for you-know-where. The new visitor, shielded by all noses concerned, is no exception. Check out the little dog at the bottom right.

This little dog had the rest of the dogs all put in their place, proving to be quite the alpha. She was pretty darned funny!

At 3 p.m. it is so gray outside that it seems as though night is near. All whining about weather aside, Holly (right) made friends with this awesome Aussie who has one blue and one brown eye.

Dog park??? Never heard of such a thing...but then again, I don't have a dog! Beggar - our part sheep dog, part german shepherd died many years ago and we never replaced the poor soul - because the kids were grown then and mom didn't want to have to take care of another by herself!!

i love dog parks!! there are some cute ones in chicago. i need to visit them, i'm in dog withdrawal. infact, i was on the elevator today and there were two dogs and i was excited to see them that i think i freaked out the owner...
