Vegas, baby! Day 5
2008.03.08
The fountain at The Bellagio as viewed from the Eiffel Tower. This fountain is quite an engineering marvel and hosts a beautiful water show every 30 minutes; each show is set to different music. This was the "Star Spangled Banner" set. The little villas are shops. Very cool!

Sorry it's off-center. The Tower is all caged in so no one will do anything dramatic, I suppose. There are little squares for you to stick a camera through and do your best to get a decent shot.

This water "explosion" made such a loud noise just because of the force it must take to get the water to push up this high. It was the grand finale. I swear you could hear some say "play ball!" (hee hee)

The Bellagio is next door to Ceasar's, where there's MORE great shopping...but I digress. The fountain is featured on a Discovery Channel show, well worth watching. In the spirit of Vegas, the host of the show is Matt, an American Idol season 3 contestant. I'm glad he's gone on to make a happy living. Anyway, the show was very interesting and if you have time, search for it.

While we were only in Vegas 4 days, there are a few "hang-over" photos left to share.
