That is so interesting about the gates. I like 8 because it has a celtic feel to it. And you left me googling Charleston's BATTERY. I had no idea what it was! And I'm wondering what I would commission had I lived there!

Charleston - you went to Charleston without me??? I love that town. I met the Philip Simmons the keeper of the gates, he actually design the gates shown in your photos.. Beautiful city/gates/ I could go on an on. I hope you enjoyed the town as much as I did.
