My kids are building bridges. The specs: must use only newspaper and masking tape, 2 desk to be a certain width apart, must hold at least 10 of our Reading books. This design met its demise when the tables collapsed inward, but the "winner" held 40 books. Fun stuff.

I remember building bridges in a math class in middle school! Only we had to use toothpicks or something. Was not fun at all!
