The view of "Downtown Frakes." Ha! There's a Post Office (you might see a tiny flag in the center--that's the PO), a small gas station/convenience store, a trailer and a house.

The dining hall at HenSett serves over 3000 work campers every summer. In addition to this, they serve community Fellowship Lunches to feed folks who might not be able to afford to eat. Above the dining hall is a dormitory. My Special Guy and I stayed in two of the rooms above the hall. Nice accommodations--a bedroom and access to a very clean bathroom (one for men, one for women)/showers, small kitchen, and a living room with t.v./v.c.r. The Mission Dorm doesn't have the living room/kitchen amenities, so we were livin' large.

HenSett has two houses in the valley below the Mission Dorm. The house on the right is emergency housing for displaced families. They can reside there for up to 6 months for free or a very low rent. The house on the left is occupied by long-term volunteers.
