Great idea. When my hubby lived in the US, he loved how you could put outgoing mail into your own letter box, and the postman would take it away to be posted.

Ha, I was thinking at first 'but the box is on the wrong side of the car' til I did the whole driving on the wrong side of the road adjustment. :)

I miss those mailboxes! STL had them but I've never seen one in the Northeast...

I too, miss those mailboxes. Now I have to *gasp* get out of the car!!! We do have drive through instabanks though....progress!
