yes I believe that. in nycity they do the same with pigeons. they round them up and send them out to Jersey for target practice. it also true that due to the amount of food they get from the streets of the city, the population grows very fast. everyone knows that many virus grow and spread with birds. all in all, I like your top photo. nice shot.

agree with mr santijose; these birds are a lot and they're not that majestic... on the contrary, they are dirty, and diseases may spread by them... the city council people are just doing their bid to control these birds population, which grows very fast...
