Must be a great feeling.... and I count everyone who has this in their life very lucky! I never had the chance to meet my Father's Father (he died when my dad was seven), or my Mom's Mother who passed away six months before I was born. I have only one vague memory of my grandfather... but it's of getting a big hug. He passed away when I was very young... five or six, so it is probably my earliest memory. My Dad's mother I have some great memories of... but unfortunately when I was still relatively young she started a downward spiral that became very difficult to watch and we lost her last February (2007)... I loved her, but unfortunately the majority of my memories of her are not the best. Beautiful photo though Megan... captures emotion perfectly!
