Not only do I feel like I'm in the photo, I can almost see the ghosts of the weary army that once wintered there. This is one of my favorite shots of yours - perfect!

Excellent! Wonderful composition. I have a few quibbles and naggles with a few elements, but they aren't even worth mentioning. On the whole, I'd say this is the kind of shot many nature and landscape photographers dream of shooting! You seriously ought to sell that, or at least display it, it would be a tragedy to let such an excellent picture spin around your hard drive forever. ;)
