Standing On Rocks

2007.09.21

I had to carefully walk across the rocks that stuck up out of the water to get this shot. Much to my surprise, I didn't slip and get my feet wet.

I also converted this to B&W, but I don't think I captured the power of the color shot. Let me know what you think.

tbranscum I like the color. I wasn't so lucky on my post a couple of days ago. Feet got really wet, but the good thing is that the rest was dry.

Estel What a beautiful and peaceful shot! I agree with Silke, I prefer the first one.

vollenda They are both beautiful in their own way. I like the b&w version though because it seems to bring out the details more and the reflections stand out. I'm partial to b&w though. :)

viralshah i prefer the first one

Cherax I agree. The striking green in #1 is what makes it for me. The large dark area doesn't help in #2. I think b&w are best for capturing textures, which is not a feature of this scene.
