Strange names, gorgeous country

2007.03.13



I drove to Jackson today for work - do I have the best job ever, or what? The first and second photos are of Ramshorn Peak, just out of Dubois (pronounced the redneck way: DOO BOYZ). Ramshorn Peak and the mountains in the third photo are part of the Absaroka Range (pronounced the redneck way: Absorka) near Togwotee Pass (pronounced...you guessed it - the redneck way: TOGATEE).

Jannie Wow!! Spectacular shots of some spectacular landscapes! Simply stunning!! Love this part of the country. Also love the redneck pronunciations, too funny!
