I'm goin' to Jackson, you turn-a loose-a my coat.
'Cos I'm goin' to Jackson.
"Goodbye," that's all she wrote.
As sung by the late, great Johnny Cash
Photo 1: Mt. Moran on a cloudy day. Part of the fabulous Teton range for which Jackson is so famous.
Photo 2: One of four antler arches that open onto Jackson's central square. Local Boy Scouts collect the antlers from the nearby elk refuge and hold an auction every year to raise money for their causes. No other group is allowed to collect the antlers.
Photo 3: The elk refuge. In the center of the photo are hundreds of elk that winter here. This late in March, I imagine they're getting ready to move out.
Photo 4: The bunch of us shopping and acting like shameful tourists.
Photo 5: A paraglider in Jackson. I'm not sure where he came from - he seemed to just appear out of nowhere and drop from the sky. But what a show!
Photo 6: The Tetons at night. Unfortunately, when night falls, it falls fast, and I didn't have quite enough light for a better photo.
