A fabulous place to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. The foundation for my hometown's library was laid one hundred years ago in 1907. It's a "Carnegie" library, as it was built in large part due to a grant from a foundation created by Andrew Carnegie, the famous Scottish-American philanthropist. It's not very old by European standards, but getting up there in local opinion, since Wyoming has been a state only 117 years.
