The Popo Agie

2007.04.17

The Popo Agie (pronounced po po' zsha, meaning Tall Grass River in the Crow language) is one of the defining characteristics of my hometown. It flows down from the Wind River Mountains, through Sinks Canyon State Park, and winds its way through Lander. This view of the Popo Agie is just north of town (taken this afternoon on my way home from work).
