Cattle country

2007.09.03

Personally, I think that having a cattle guard AND a barbed wire fence is a bit like wearing a belt AND suspenders, but since this isn't my property, it's not my call.

You never know - that added bit of security may make it possible for the rancher to sleep at night ....

tbranscum I would think that the cattle guard would be enough, but to each his own. Great shot! Where is the real cowboy? I would like to see that.

TheBigHush I really don't know how you do it but just like "The Master Key" and "Lyons Valley", you've managed to carve into my screen a looking glass into that big backyard. It feels so palpably real yet spookily surreal all at the same time.
