How very cool. I hope they save it, too. It's really weird for me to visit places I lived as a child. I am overwhelmed by nostalgia, but at the same time I feel a strange disconnect, like it was really all a dream.

Its a lovely mural. I'm glad that someone has the good sense to save the mural. I had a similar experience to dweiskir when I went back to my childhood neighborhood. Thanks for sharing the mural and words.

This one gave me chills. Thank you so much for sharing your story! What a step back in time indeed! I also hope they save the mural. It would be horrible if they didn't.

Wow - it must have felt very strange revisiting. I remember visiting my childhood neigbourhood after about 30 years and being so surprised how close the school was to where we lived - my recollections were of having walked miles and miles to school. An interesting place where you grew up - great mural!

It's still so vivid and beautiful! I hope they save it too, it would be a tragedy if it was lost.
