Waiting for a break to cross the street

Started to walk across..........and then pushed them back to the curb

Waiting for Mom.........

Mom called them with a loud quack and they started to move!!

They are almost across with a little assistance

We made sure they were on the other curb and walking down the sidewalk before we went on our way!!

On my way into work, I saw out on one of the corners that a mama duck and her kids were trying to cross the road, so I pulled over and watched and snapped, untill I finally had to assist with getting them across. Cars were stopping but I felt that there is always that one, so between me and a city parks worker we got them across ok :)

OH lovely! I was hoping to see more! It seems very unusual and odd to see ducks near a busy ish road? Is there a farm nearby? They are very obedient, and funny how they follow in line, unlike chicks who just run everywhere in a mess. Nice set.
