I love this shot—especially how the two seemingly ignore one another.

i don't know precisely why--the imagery certainly is not exact--but this photo reminded me of a simon and garfunkel song, "old friends." "Old friends, Old friends Sat on their park bench Like bookends. A newspaper blown though the grass Falls on the round toes Of the high shoes Of the old friends." It's a sweet song, written in awe of people comfortable with each other and with being in the winter of life. The woman looks like a wonderful old friend. And as much as I love cats, I think in this instance the woman is humoring the cat in its belief of their respective roles.

Dogs have owners, cats have staff...a friend o' mine always says that . I really like this shot, she looks so concetrated on her work and yet so comfortable..:D
