The way to make these dreamlike photos is to place the light behind the subject in order to let the light soften round the edges and overexpose one to two EVs to compensate for the high key photo. I think you underexposed a bit, but got an excellent result. Great portrait!

Just one thought.... get rid of the outer-glowing border, it's so outdated in style. Instead, try put clean sharp solid line. With the strong boundary, your "smoothness" of photo will be more touching.
