Greenies

Last weekend, I went back to Bota, Perak, to visit my grandfather who was recently admitted to hospital. He's fine and recovering well. Here are some pics took outside the wards. This is the 1st time I fully shoot in RAW. Trying to get used to it.

Back home, I processed them with Nikon Capture NX. Very cool software.You can just click any point of the picture and adjust color controls there. As you can see in my last 2 pics, in the 'before' pic, the sky was to bright that day, everything in the foreground became underexposed. But with a little tweaking with Capture NX, I can darken the sky and brighten the foreground.. but nothing can be done about the blown highlights on the clouds though.. heh.. Tried to tweak Jpegs too, but it doesn't work well like tweaking RAWs..

so.. shoot in RAW! hehehe
