To satisfy a craving

2008.03.01
Take a little yeast....

Add some flour, then rosemary and a bit of sugar.

After mixing until it forms a dough, it's time to break out the hook. (Insert assorted pirate sounds here.)

There are no words adequate to describe my love for this mixer. It's the best thing since.....well, since sliced bread. It takes all the work out of kneading dough.

Ahhhh, tomatoes. How I've missed you! You're not quite as good as home grown, but you will have to do until summer.

The fun part is poking the dough with your fingers to make all the little craters. Brush on a mixture of olive oil, rosemary and garlic.

Add some mozzarella and tomatoes, sprinkle with some sea salt, and it's ready for the oven.

Twenty minutes later, it's done.

It tasted just as good as it looks.

I've been craving tomatoes for weeks now. I finally found some decent ones at the grocery store this week, so I made some rosemary focaccia bread with tomatoes and mozzarella for dinner tonight. So tasty.
