Happy mistakes

Taken a couple of years ago at a steeplechase. It was my first one to photograph, and this was the first race; I didn't realize until this moment that my zoom lens wasn't such a good idea. :) For some reason, this shot actually turned out to be a favorite. It almost looks like a painting to me.

Taken yesterday. This little guy was running all over the place, trying to find some leftover seed or corn. I was busy trying to keep up with him, without moving too much at the same time. I like this because it conveys the motion, even though it's not sharp at all.

To ZOOMING right out of the frame! This is one of the oddest shots I've ever captured, but it certainly conveys the speed at which these critters move.

Every once in a while, a shot that is technically "wrong" will end up being something I like. Do you have any of these happy mistakes to share?

I love photos whether mistakes or not. The movement from 3 to 4 is excellent thanks for sharing these!
The "Boo-boos" here bring to mind my eclipse postings. I got some really good shots of the eclipse, but I think I like my shaky freezing to death pics better. :)
There's something to be said for the shot that isn't perfect.
