Sunset as viewed from the side of the porch, with a crescent moon rising.
|
My favorite place to relax, especially at sunset.
|
This is another one of my happy accidents. When I was taking the picture of the front window, I wanted to have Sugar looking out. I kept calling her and knocking on the window, but she wouldn't come. I finally looked through the sidelight window at the door, and there she was - lying on the floor, staring at the door. I managed to prop my camera and tripod onto the doorstep, and point it in her direction, but wasn't able to see through the viewfinder. This was the result. What I love about this is the faint image of her face that appears on her back - cute and creepy at the same time. :)

I love how the cresent moon has looked the past few nights... like a little smilieface. I didn't notice Sugar the Two Faced Pooch until you pointed it out.

You know that #2 is my favorite. My spot on the wicker couch is just waiting for me to come back. *sigh* A beautifully wistful shot, Lissa.

Wonderful shots. #2 is so beautiful and inviting. What kind of dog is Sugar? One of my dearest friend's has two dogs who could be her twin!

These are great photos. The faint face on Sugar's back is a bit creepy, was it the timed exposure that made that?? I love your front porch! I wish we had porches like that here in California on more of the the houses!!
