It's interesting to see what a difference a couple of seconds can make when it comes to night photography. Here is the same scene, photographed at different shutter speeds.

coyoteself Oooo, that's NEAT!! Thanks for sharing the pictures and their exposure times. I like the way you adjusted your f/stops so that the foreground doesn't get washed out by the longer exposure times.

Madoc This post should be presented in photography schools to beginners for them to easily and clearly understand the time of exposure and its possibilities.
Very interesting visually too.
The last ones really is where it is getting particularly interesting.

Absolutely wonderful example of how exposures work and what the differences in results are - I agree entirely with what Madoc has said.
The last one is the penultimate shot, and for me, the most interesting - very well done!!! :)
