oh wow! what a comparison! Its funny, i was talking about this with my husband just the other day. having been to Canada during winter and summer, its interesting to see everything die off from the cold..then in summer it all seems to come alive again (yes I know you dont live in Canada..hehe..does it get super cold in texas??)...... Here is Aus its the opposite! Everything dies off from the heat in sumer and rejuvenates in winter.

Unbelievable... nature continually fascinates me... Lissa, these shots are superb - the light, the composition, the capturing of the colour and reflections in the water. Very well done :) I want to go there right now, put down a picnic rug and just take it all in.
