I came home from work today, and before cooking dinner, sat down on the couch to gaze out the front window a bit. It was too hot to sit on the porch, and this is the next best thing. Besides, more critters come around when I'm inside than when I'm outside.

This afternoon our front yard was a happenin' place. We had squirrels, bunnies, gold finches, house finches, cardinals, titmice, chickadees, blue jays and doves - all at the same time. At times it felt like something out of an old Chiffon margarine commercial.

Sugar is so not a dog. lolol What a very darling picture. I just love seeing her because my dearest friend has two dogs just like yours.
