Just relaxing and enjoying the shower. Rain means bath time for the birds - whether they need it or not. :)

Not very colorful, but such sweet faces.

I think my favorites were the hummingbirds. They flew around constantly during the rain, and they have the mussed up feathers to prove it.

Gotta get just the right seed, which naturally, is located beyond what's easily in reach.

With all the mess with the water pump, I postponed posting these photos I took on Friday during the rain. The birds took cover during the severe part of the storm, but once things settled down to a nice, steady rain, they came out to play – bad “hairstyles” and all.

I also laughed at the hummer... what a great catch! It reminds me of a "National Enquirer" shot where the poor thing shows up on PB for people to laugh at it! :-)

I never thought that birds would look like drowned rats in the rain. Very nice set. :)
