It's what's inside that counts
I made another batch of salsa tonight, and got to looking at the seeds after I removed them from the poblano peppers. They're so interesting up close.
What's inside the poblano doesn't really matter much, as they're not hot. However, what's inside a jalapeno really does count! The seeds and membrane are what make a jalapeno hot. We used six poblanos and three jalapenos in this batch, but removed the seeds from two of the jalapenos.
