For as long as I can remember, my mom has had a small collection of different coins. I think that she started keeping them as a child, and passed them along to me about 10 years ago. I've been keeping them in the same box, but took them out today to have a look at them.

Some of the items in the box aren't coins at all...there's a bridge token, a dog tag, a replica of a coin fashioned into a medallion of sorts, and a token that apparently you could have personalized at certain exhibitions or fairs.
