chalk writing on the sidewalk up the street from here...it says 'can you solve the mystery?'

a little further up the street...

and lastly...

All of the children were on the playground this afternoon. One of the children called over to me, and this is how our conversation went:

Keegan: Jennifer, do you want some "frostated" flakes?

Me: Sure, but what do they taste like? They look like they're kinda rock-tasting to me. Or is this something that you have to use your imagination for? (we had talked earlier about how sea monsters are make-believe, and that they can look like whatever you want, because you use your imagination to picture them.)

Keegan: Uh, no.

Me: So what you see is what you get?

Keegan: Uh, yeah.
