From the time that I was a young child, and even now, my mom has always taught me both how to make things, and that I *can* make things on my own. I saved scraps from her sewing projects to make my first quilt when I was about 14. It's not perfect by any means, but it means a lot to me, and so does my mom.

OnlyInCanada Aww, what a nice tribute to your mom. I'm sure if Kujo could talk he'd say something equally nice to you, his mom. Happy Mother's Day.

kimauman This is a wonderful memory--the things we make as children we tend to treasure. Nice set.
