Boletus chrysenteron

2009.11.09

Mushroom with a hemispherical hat (4 in 10 cms), of beige color to yellowish brown, with a cuticle strewed with craquelure which yellow of long tubes making blue olive by becoming older and pores light yellow which turn blue slightly when we touch them, with a foot hails yellow in fine ribs, speckled or lined by red garnet. The flesh is half soft and of light yellow yellow color. It turns blue slightly when we touch it. It has so to speak no smell but is of very sweet flavour.
It grows in all the wood (as well in wood of conifers, as in wood of broad-leaved trees), from the summer to the end of the autumn

SADHYA Oh I love to eat boletus. Great photos.
I found two shaggy parasols yesterday, and very nice they tasted in my risotto.
