It's a great day out for both dogs and humans~
I arrived at the kennels at around 9:15 and it was already crowded with people, both inside and outside the gates.
I had to have my breakfast outside or else i would be attacked by the dogs...
Agatha, the mongrel girl that i was taking today,
started to growl and bark at me when i entered her cage..
pretty weird coz she would usually welcome me into the gate, and jump up excitedly when she see the leash...
i guess it was because it was so chaotic and noisy in the kennels which frightened her a bit...
when she went outside the gate, she became perfectly fine,
the normal Agatha i see every other week~
we were supposed to leave the kennels and go to the peak at around 9:45, but due to some animal problems
(ie, dogs that don't want to get into the car, dogs that needs to pee and poo before getting onto the car, etc etc..)
the car ride was pretty uneventful, unless you count Rollo throwing up on the car... poor boy...
due to the huge number of people joining the P2P event this year, traffic to the Peak was a bit bad, and we only arrived at the place of assembly at 10:40. We started walking the loop around the Peak then walked down the Old Peak Road to go to Lan Kwai Fong. Along the way were police counting the number of people, and we also have police showing us the way, as people and dogs walked in packs instead of one large group....
When we got to Lan Kwai Fong, I can see that the Police were not very amused, as all the participants basically blocked the whole street...
Nothing special about the lunch really, only that i managed to take a photo with the famous model Rosemary Vandenbroucke. Her dogs are very cute!
Anyway, time to go home for the dogs, we ordered a mini-van and went back to the kennels. This time, both Chandler the Cocker Spaniel and Rollo decided to stay still during the ride, so they didnt have carsickness or anything on the way back....
Oh and extras, the new puppy field at the kennels, now we can allow a bunch of puppies to roam around, having fun as they want to~
