Mambo the Malinois. Take a look at his left foot... it's disfigured.. not sure if this happened when was he still a police dog or when he started living with his adopted family...

Today was pretty relaxing at the kennels,
because there were more people working today.
i met a new volunteer,
who works in the Correction Department's Dog Unit,
so now i do know something about government working dogs~
anyway, kennel business,
we now have a Malinois called Membo, who has a disfigured foot..
from what we've heard, he was once a police dog, but probably because of health reasons, he was forced to retire.
the adopter apparently can't take care of such a large boy with a leg problem that he surrendered him...
poor boy, he's very obedient and quiet actually...
another dog we have is Mr Plod.
he's a bulldog, with really creased skin.
that's causes him to have a serious skin disease.
and he stink a lot!
but he's a really quiet and good boy when we gave him a bath~
another event of the day was the Homing Day at Pets Central.
apparently, without any advertisements,
this time the event was not very successful,
and only one couple came and seemed interested in adopting a dog (note: we have 9 dogs at Pets Central today)
well, we hope people will go to the kennels to adopt then~
