oh dear, sagelike 31, i wrote a large, long reply, you know, i had been logged out by the time i finished my reply.... you know the rest :-)
yes, in short, migratory cupping in accordance with tcm method. I've been treating my good friend for back and hip pain which results from heavy manual labour for a while now.
Over the last 6-7 weeks he has recieved upwards of 11 treatments and reports good improvement to health and wellbeing.
My friend, he responds well to acupuncture but massage for 30 minutes, migratory cupping for 10-12 minutes followed by another 30-35 minutes of masage and perhaps a couple of cups, taken two-three times per week is the treatment which holds a lot of therapeutic promise for him.
I work on the back, hips, neck, shoulders, buttocks and lumbar spine, the gallbladder channel to each side of the body, upper and lower legs, upper and lower arms, hands and head. I work on his body with a variety of techniqies derived from an mo tui na, shiatsu, lymphatic drainage, deep tissue, jing luo and TCM therapeutic techniques and understandings.
I use five cups of varying sizes and slide them over the surface of the back. They grasp the skin and muscle and lift it up quite strongly which my friend finds relaxing and beneficial and I find draws a fair ammount of heat out from the interior which benefits this mans constitution.

Tjhe following photographs remind me of the balance between yin and yang, dark and light, flat and pointing to the sky, right to left, weak and strong, far and near.
There is always a greater harmony, no? Are yin and yang not born from the dao too? om namah sivaya

agree with the first, but the second one is very good in all senses
