Тыквы весело!

Since some of you wanted some more pumpkin action I picked up my camera, got myself out the door and down to the pumpkin patch. Being behind a fence I could not get too many crazy angle shots of the enormous vegetable, so I hope these two will do to satiate you! :-)

I walked the full circle before returning home and noticed some large thistles being colourful in the sun. Bright, beautiful and very spiny! I noticed that the bees seem to like them. I guess they are some of the larger flowers about at this time of the year for the bees to feed from.

I say, I think the gardener may have some trouble carting the pumpkin away in his wheel-barrow no? :-)
