#196 Golden wings

Last weekend we returned to the stream looking for some damselflies. Lots of them were fluttering over the water, so I took pictures to males, females, both doing some things together ^_^ and other surprises.

Unlike dragonflies, damselflies hold their wings close and parallel to the body. They have separated eyes, so their vision isn't as perfect as it is in dragonflies. And they are also smaller.

In my country we call to this tiny creatures "caballitos del diablo" (small horses of devil) for some stupid reason unknown to me, because they cannot damage us in any way.
Aren't they cute??
