Beijing Olympic Games: Day 4 & 5

2008.08.13
Olympic Games: Day 4

At the subway, Line 10.
Everybody was watching the Basketball Game between China and Spain.

Spain won, of course. ;)

My Spanish couchsurfer, got us a ticket at a travel agency secretly hidden in Novotel Hotel.

I'm excited to see the Athletics Events this Friday nights. And yes, I'll post the pictures here.

The original price is 200 but we bought it for 300 each. But I didn't pay. He paid it for me as a gift of my hospitality! ;)

Olympic Games: Day 5

At the Subway, Line 10 / 7:25 a.m. / On my way to school.

When you enter the subway, three men were handing out newspapers to everyone for FREE.

And so..... everyone in the subway.... reads... well, eager to know the latest medal count.

...even on the streets.

I passed by this afternoon at the venue for BOXING event.
The lady you see on your right and sitting on an elevated damn chair, instructed the crowd where to line up and she's real tough. She might look petite but a real ass kicker. She shouts like a batallion commander even with a megaphone. :))

...this photo....
I dunno what came into me. ;)

Why all wearing white caps?
Hmmmnnn.... to easily identify their group and to avoid getting lost in the sea of people.

Yes, there's a local tour guide with them.

Then, I saw this white guy selling his boxing tickets to the Thai. The flat price on the ticket is 30 RMB and he sold it for 200 RMB.

Before the Thai guy paid, they posed for my camera. ;)

Here's another one looking for tickets.

A group picture of high school students.

The traffic in front of the venue was reallyyyyyyy heavy.

Not far from the boxing venue is the Worker's Stadium. At 7:00 p.m. tonight, USA and Mexico played football. I dunno who won.

And I dunno, what's the connection of this Canadian flag here. ;)

View from the gate of the Football match venue.

I asked these guys if I could take a picture with them. Guess, which country are they from.
