Osteo....mum. I always remember the osteo part because it reminds me of osteoarthritis! I just don't remember the whole name of this flower.
The new hydrangea. It is supposed to turn blue or pink depending upon the soil. Mine must be just right since it is turning purple!
I think this is Farewell-to-spring or clarkia. I planted a few seeds a few years ago and now it is trying to take over and has seeded itself down in the woods.
I THINK this is camassia. I have had it for too long to remember the name and the plant stake is gone. I liked it for my "blue garden".
Don't remember what this is either. It's also in the blue garden. It's about to bloom but looks pretty cool like this. I like the foliage.

Beautiful blooms. Speaking of flower names that remind you of other things...When I hear the word clematis, I think of chlamydia....an std;)

I put some lavender essential oil on all of my mosquito/fly bites and it helped a whole lot. if you have some maybe it will help? i feel like a hippie suggesting essential oils. : ) I love this post - so many pretty purple flowers, i can't decide which is my favorite!!
