Colors, Colors, Colors. Not sure if I want to eat this or frame it. Very nice choice. The background perfect.

We had a lot of very hot days. This tomatoe seems to be ripe (for me it's wonderful red!).

We have so many hot days here. Yes, it seems to be ripe to my eyes.

We've been enveloped in either torrid weather or downright downpours accompanied by thunderstorms. Your tomato looks good enough to eat.

my parents used to grow tomatoes and they were so good! I miss that : ( Hope your tomatoes turn out yummy! the weather here is unbearably hot and a little humid, which isn't typical.

Your last comment cracked me up ~ I said the exact same thing to my husband a few days ago!! Ours aren't rippening either ~ my hopes of canning lots of salsa are quickly dwindling :o(

No, I don't think it just the midwest. I have 2 tomato plants that are full of green tomatoes. Somehow I thought I'd have a heap of them to enjoy thru the summer, but no, we'll have our first frost before they turn red !!! My daughter lives in Houston, and hers didn't do very well either.
