Put a large pot on to boil. Don't watch it because it will never boil!

Take freshly picked corn out to the deck for your husband to husk...

...while you fool around taking pics and trying to get things right with "manual mode".

Find a willing assistant to help. The granddaughter who helped plant the corn will do.

All clean!

Back in the kitchen...put some corn in the boiling water. Bring back to boil. Boil for 4 minutes.

Put corn in sink of cold water.
|
When cool have husband cut corn off the cob while you continue to play with the camera.
|
Put into freezer bags and freeze! - 29 bags to eat until next year.

tasty! It's never boring in your house and you keep your buddies busy. :o)) Anyway it's so interesting to see in yr photosessions, how you plant, grow and gather the fruits. You and your family are doing a great job and especially you, because you show your grandkids how to do so.
