i was stirring my pot for almost 4 hours. i didn't want to over cooked the plums so i was stirring the syrup for about 3 hours then added the fruits.

my aunt bought a huge box of plum from this guy that sells fruit from the back of his trunk, cause she felt bad for him working in night on 4th of july. the plum was fresh and tasty we ate about 20 and didn't know what to do with hundreds leftover so we made jam!
